On standard deliveries

Delivery Information

Standard orders usually take us 1-3 working days to organise and despatch, with delivery typically made within 3 working days of this.
Standard orders will normally be delivered via Royal Mail First Class parcel service and are made between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. Smaller items will be posted through your letterbox, but for larger items a card will be left should you not be there to accept the parcel. We are happy to deliver to work addresses excluding PO Box numbers. In some instances, and at our discretion, we will upgrade to a traceable courier service at no extra cost to you.

There will be a delivery charge for any goods delivered outside of the United Kingdon. You should email info@borntoboard.com detailing postal address for a quote prior to placing your order. 

borntoboard.com acceptance of your order commences when your order is despatched. At this point the purchase contract starts and you will be charged for the goods. In some cases, payment may be taken up to 24 hours prior to actual despatch.

Should your parcel show signs of damage or that it has been tampered with in transit, please make a note of this on the courier's documents and if possible take photographs of the damaged areas. This will assist in any claims which may occur at a later date.

Please email info@borntoboard.com with details of the item to be returned and the reason. The returns address will then be forwarded to you together with the return note number..

The returns form can be found on the reverse of your receipt. Goods can be returned for a prompt refund or exchange if they are received back at borntoboard.com Returns Department within 14 days: in new condition, with the original packaging, labeling and borntoboard receipt. A refund request will be actioned within 3 week days from receipt.

The 14 days start from the day of despatch, but as a minimum includes a period of 7 working days from the day after delivery to you as the permitted cancellation period. This would not apply for special orders taken on behalf of the customer. 

We recommend that items being returned be sent via insured, trackable delivery for your protection. Please note: all return postage charges to be met by customer, unless returning due to a fault. Please note all warranty returns must be clean and free from dirt and mud to comply with the current Health and Safety Regulations.

The cost of delivery to the buyer will be deducted from the refund amount.

Note: DVDs, videos, books, safety equipment, ropes and snowchains are non-exchangeable and non-returnable, unless incorrect or defective.

 All of the above does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
